Shelby
Shelby is a sweet girl who just needs someone to love. She came to us from a home who had owned her for all her life until now. She may be 11.5 years old, but is in excellent health all around. Her pedigree contains some wonderful dogs, and being from a breeder who does do health checking, she should have a wonderful length of life. She is good with children, as well as other dogs.
In her foster home she's been exposed to a lot in a short time and done
well. She's even fine with her foster homes' pet rabbits, who run loose!
Shelby does have one habit, which is being very vocal about what she would
like. An apartment would NOT be suitable for her. She loves to just be with you. She does have a bit of separation anxiety, but is not destructive at all. She simply makes it known she wants her people. This is completely understandable though, considering her age and having to start over in a new home!
She enjoys sleeping on her foster's bed at night, or lounging on the couch.
Her health is excellent, and she is currently up to date on ALL vaccines,
and has been spayed. She recently had blood work done, which shows her
organs to be in good health.
Shelby walks very well on a leash, and enjoys car rides.
